Bluffing
Differently from all the other casino games, poker has a very special feature: the possibility to bluff. In particular, games like slot machines and like bingo do not allow the player to try and mislead his opponent. In poker, bluffing is a legitimate tactics, by which a poker player drives his opponent into giving up a winning hand, wrongly believing it is a loser. This is generally done by overbetting one own’s hand and by making all kinds of facial gestures. This tactics should be used sparingly in order to be effective, as frequent bluffers are generally not believed anymore and they also risk losing huge bets at every bluff.
It is possible to bluff also in online poker. While in all the other casino and online games like keno, backgammon and craps there is not such a thing as a bluff.
